This delightful, tranquil village snoozes quietly at the toe of the famous white and red stripy chalk and carstone cliffs that separate Old Hunstanton from its bigger sister, the traditional Victorian seaside town of Hunstanton.
It also marks the start of a smattering of quaint old flint and stone fishing villages that hug this beautiful stretch of the North Norfolk coast.
Old Hunstanton has a wonderful, wide, golden, sandy, dog-friendly beach, popular with kite and wind surfers. With the cluster of charming mis-matched beach huts peeping out from behind the dunes – one of which is 'Sandy Bottom', available to Sea-Glimpse guests, it is the ideal location for a family beach holiday.
And, as Old Hunstanton is the only village on the east coast to face West, it regularly bears witness to the most spectacular sunsets over the Wash.
