'Sandy Bottom'
is a fabulous NEW 16ft x 10ft beach hut on Old Hunstanton beach, just a 2-3 minute walk from Sea-Glimpse – the perfect spot for making the most of your beach holiday at any time of the year!
Sandy Bottom is kitted out to ensure you maximise your time at the beach, with plenty of seating and space to stretch out and relax, as well as practical space and equipment for enjoying a picnic.

Furniture includes two director's chairs, two reclining 'easy' chairs and two fold-up stools, a vintage 1950's kitchen unit, housing an assortment of mugs, plates and cutlery. In addition, there is a curtained-off changing area with a large storage bench, which is ideal for a lie-down!
For health and safety reasons, there is no stove. However, we do provide a flask to prepare hot drinks at Sea-Glimpse to enjoy at the hut. In addition, the
wonderful Old Boathouse Café (opposite the lifeboat station, a couple of minutes walk from Sandy Bottom)
sells take-away tea, coffee and food, including ice cream and delicious
homemade cake (highly recommended!). There is also a cold water tap
close by for filling up the dog's bowl, which is provided.  |

No day at the beach would be complete without a spot of sandcastle construction and a
fiercely contested game of French cricket – Sandy Bottom houses a supply of essential beach paraphernalia, including a windbreak, buckets and spades, a frisbee, petanque set and fleece blankets (it can get chilly after a dip in the sea... brrrrr!). If this doesn't suffice, the Old Boathouse Café stocks an extensive range of classic seaside toys and kites.
Sandy Bottom is available only to guests of Sea-Glimpse. Please follow the booking guidelines on the Prices & Bookings page, then check availability and when you contact us, indicate you would like to hire Sandy Bottom too.
* The hire of Sandy Bottom runs from the morning after your arrival at Sea-Glimpse until the evening prior to your departure.
* There is a strict No Smoking policy in and around Sandy Bottom. We strongly support campaigns to keep the UK's beaches clean and recommend the 'mini-bin keyring' – an ideal solution for disposing of chewing gum and cigarette butts. Take a look at http://cleanercities.easywebstore.co.uk/.
